Job Profile
An opportunity has arisen for a high-performing Production Engineer to join a long-established company for over 9 decades, with a world leading reputation for the design, development and build of drilling machines, cutting tools and a provider of precision subcontract machining, based in Chessington, Surrey.
Working within the company's subcontract division, the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic engineering team to ensure manufacturing processes and procedures are optimised for blue chip customers in sectors as diverse as oil and gas, nuclear, automotive, and subsea telecommunications.

  • The ability to work along with an engineering team, creating processes, production paperwork using spreadsheets and CAD drawings ensuring that manufacturing processes are safe, lean and efficient
  • 2D & 3D design of fixturing and tooling
  • Creating BOM's and working with MRPs
  • New product development and testing to industry standards
  • Ordering material to correct specification which is commercially viable
  • Ensuring certificate packages are correct before shipping
  • Liaising with expedite and shipping facilitators
  • Liaising and building relationships with several highly specialised subcontract suppliers
  • Liaising and nurturing relationships with our long-established blue-chip customers in a professional manner and ensuring deliveries meet customer expectations

Skills & Attributes:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering
  • Solidworks / SolidCAM competent
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail and disciplined
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills


  • 38hrs per week
    • 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday (flexible start/finish)
    • 8am - 12pm, Friday
