£18,000 – £22,000 per annum DOE + £600 monthly on target + yearly performance bonus up to £1,000 (pro-rata) + 28 days holiday + fantastic career opportunities

Job Profile

The role of a Resourcer is heavily telephone, email and database driven and will consist of resourcing candidates for specific roles. This will include intensive research into the Precision Engineering and Manufacturing markets we serve, marketing ideal candidates to companies within the industry and generating candidates for roles we have registered with us.

You’ll be liaising with a whole range of professional people, obtaining various information to find candidates their new role and make the perfect match.

The role will be predominantly telephone/office based. However, hybrid (remote/office) working arrangements can be considered for the right person.

 

Duties:

  • Source and select candidates for our industry specific vacancies using Bolton Recruitment’s database, CV searching on relevant job boards, social media platforms, email & telephone

  • Identify and approach candidates directly for recruiting requirements over the telephone and email

  • Discuss previous employment history and obtain previous managers’ information to gain references and to pass on leads to the consultants

  • Identify MPCs (Most Placeable Candidates) to pass to a delivery consultant to market out to prospective or existing clients

  • Place adverts on the Company website and other job portals to attract applicants

  • Search and network with existing candidates on the database and CV searching on job boards using Boolean searching to source candidates for specific jobs to include disciplines such as Manufacturing & Engineering, Sales & Administration, Management & Executive Level opportunities

  • Identify skills required to match candidates appropriately to live vacancies

  • Profile/pre-screen candidates for specific jobs to then pass over to the Delivery team

  • Book candidates in for interviews with Consultants and Clients when needed

  • Updating & maintaining the database with candidate and client details as required

  • Administrative duties including inputting candidate data, interview confirmation emails, formatting CVs etc

  • Promoting job opportunities / building and nurturing relationships with candidates whilst continually striving towards set goals and targets

  • Additional ad-hoc duties as required

  • Identify, attract, and engage candidates to fulfil specific business briefs and requirements

  • Provide support and service to internal delivery functions and departments

  • Proactively track and continuously manage the journey of a candidate customer 

  • Matching potential candidates within new + existing clients

  • Name gathering of new candidates via candidate care calls (existing candidates on the database)

  • Interview prospective candidates - telephone screening

  • Able to advise and reformat CVs to 'sell' key USP's of that candidate

  • Understand and support the Delivery and Business Development process

  • Provide first line support for all Candidate enquiries

  • Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation such as Rights to Work in the UK

  • Provide support to ensure that the candidates and clients always receive a professional and comprehensive service

  • Comply with company management systems, reporting and quality procedures including accurate database management

  • Develop an understanding of market rates and conditions within our sector

  • Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates

  • Your personality should be process driven, with strong analytical and research skills alongside excellent communication skills and a confident demeanour

  • You will be adept at using the internet, search engines and websites

  • You will have a real passion for supporting individuals with taking the next step in their career and helping them identify the ideal job role

  • You will have Persistence and Tenacity to identify and get hold of ideal candidates

 

Additional Skills:

  • Hold previous recruitment/resourcing experience is a must (12months +)

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, plus the right attitude is essential to join our motivated, high energy and positive team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Advanced questioning skills

  • Ability to influence and engage with all levels of candidates

  • Able to articulate your specialist knowledge and understanding of the sector

  • Advanced skills in LinkedIn / job boards and other candidate portals required

  • Confident telephone manner
